As the number one beer brand in mainland China, Tsingtao was looking for a fun way to engage their consumers in their sponsorship of the NBA.
Motim created a mobile augmented reality campaign to integrate with their existing 'cheerleader' promotions, which presented a cheerleader in 3D augmented reality directly off special promotional cans using the mobile phone. Technically challenging, Motim had to develop new techniques to deal with the image distortion and lighting effects off aluminum cans. With 3D graphics, animation and a music track, the cheerleader danced in front of the can to the wonderment of the user.
