Even in 2008, marketers knew that mobile had the potential to reach consumers in entirely new ways.
Motim was challenged with engaging users at bus stops to imagine themselves somewhere else. We created a campaign using green screen processing via mobile phones that enabled the user to capture a picture of themselves transformed into a different location. Because of the variety of conditions that users may be in and the variety of images, we developed a custom image processing solution that utilized 14 different algorithms to ensure the best possible result, to be delivered on a mobile phone.
The groundbreaking campaign not only won awards, but also created awareness of how mobile can be used in fresh ways.
