Successful 2009 for HIT Lab NZ Ltd
January 15, 2010
HIT Lab NZ Ltd. has completed another profitable year, despite the challenging trading conditions during 2009.
"I'm delighted that even with some very tough budget constraints for our clients during the past year, and our aggressive investment in R & D, that we've produced a profitable result for FY2009 as well as continuing to develop key technology platforms across a number of segments.", comments CEO Andrew Plimmer. "In line with our strategy, we have been able to extend our augmented reality platforms for marketing applications for both mobile and desktop environments, develop new vision processing technology, and add to our IP portfolio in the health and education sectors. We have some exciting launches coming up in the 2nd quarter of 2010, and are seeing a much stronger outlook for our clients, with signs of strong growth in North Asia and North America in particular."
In late 2009 the company also launched Slapdown Games (www.slapdowngames.net), with its first iPhone concept games selling steadily and some exciting enhancements to the lineup planned during the first half of 2010.
